Moonee Valley Care provides a range of support work services for clients with disabilities, including personal care, domestic help, social and community participation, and assistance with daily living tasks.
Service Delivery
We are committed to providing adaptable, trustworthy, and person-centred care. We work together with our clients to develop a strategy that satisfies their needs, and we are accessible whenever they need us. Our support staff members have received instruction in a range of communication methods and have first-hand experience working with customers that have different needs.
Pricing and Fees
Our pricing is based on the most recent NDIS price guide as part of our commitment to providing transparent and economically priced services. We collaborate with your customers' families to explain all charges in a straightforward manner and offer assistance in locating any financial resources that may be accessible.
Eligibility and Access
To be eligible for NDIS services, a client must meet a number of criteria, such as being under 65 and having a substantial and persistent disability. You can apply for NDIS funding and use it to access Moonee Valley Care's support work services when your eligibility has been confirmed.
Our Services
Community Engagement
We help participants connect with their communities through volunteering, events, and social activities. From joining local sports teams to attending community gatherings, we create opportunities for social engagement. For example, we supported Daniel in joining a netball team, helping him stay active and make new friends. Our goal is to foster inclusion, connection, and personal growth.
Life Skills Development
We support participants in developing essential skills for independence, including budgeting, cooking, and using public transport. By providing guidance tailored to individual needs, we help build confidence in daily tasks. For example, we assisted Raphael in managing his routines and household responsibilities, empowering him to live more independently and navigate everyday life with greater ease.
Recreational Activities
We offer access to engaging group and individual activities such as art classes, nature walks, and fitness programs. Our goal is to create enjoyable experiences that support personal interests and well-being. For example, we helped Barry develop community activities that match his passions, ensuring he stays active, connected, and engaged in meaningful ways.
Employment Preparation
We help participants prepare for employment by assisting with resume writing, interview skills, and job searching. Our support is tailored to individual goals, whether securing a job or starting a business. For example, we supported Daniel in building his window cleaning business, helping him develop skills and opportunities for long-term success and independence
Peer Support Programs
We help participants build social connections through group programs and mentorship opportunities. By fostering supportive relationships, we create spaces for shared experiences, personal growth, and community engagement. Our goal is to ensure everyone feels included, valued, and connected with like-minded peers in a meaningful way.
Cultural Inclusion
We support participants in exploring and embracing their cultural heritage while also learning about diverse cultures through multicultural events. By fostering inclusivity and cultural appreciation, we create opportunities for meaningful connections, personal growth, and a deeper sense of identity. Our goal is to celebrate diversity and encourage engagement in rich cultural experiences.
